UNDER OUR SKIN begins its national theatrical release this Friday, June 19th at the IFC Center in New York City. We have an updated 35mm print, and Andy and Mandy will be in attendance at several of the NYC screenings. It’s essential we pack the theater on opening weekend. Theater managers will view the NYC run as a test to gauge whether the film will be popular at their home theaters. If the film does well at the box office, it will open in more and more theaters, trigger more and more publicity, and unleash unprecedented awareness for the Lyme disease issue (and the healthcare crisis it highlights). Later in June, the film opens in Los Angeles, Washington, San Diego, Albany, Santa Cruz, Chicago, and more cities to follow. All June 27th screenings are in conjunction with President Obama’s “National Healthcare Day of Service” campaign.

Even though many of us do not live in the “opening night” areas, PLEASE send this to everyone, as some of your family/contacts/doctors just might be able to attend….This is a BIG STEP for the Lyme communities….thanks for your help….Several doctors here in Arizona has seen this showing and everyone of them were very moved and apologized to me, as they had no idea what we are faced with dealing with this horrific disease…. We need everyone’s help getting this into our movie houses.
