Arizona Licensure
To get an Arizona
Homeopathic Medical License you must be a DO or an MD with an active
unrestricted license in any state. Credentialing and letters of
recommendation will be part of the requirements.
You must have either
taken at least an approved 40 hour course in homeopathy and have
additional hours in any of many alternative medical fields, or you
may have 90 hours of approved homeopathic training. There is both a
written and an oral exam requirement.

HOMEOPATHIC COURSE
Sponsored by AHIMA APPROVED FOR LICENSING BY BHME
This 40-hour distance learning course seeks to introduce a physician
to
the practice of homeopathy. The course has been pre-approved
by the
Arizona Board of Homeopathic Medical Examiners towards licensing
requirements. The course is taught by Todd Rowe MD(H), CCH, D
Ht and Pam
Pappas, MD(H).
The course is supplied on two audio CDs. Another CD provides
transcripts
of the lectures. There is homework: cases, quizzes and a final
exam. To
help you accomplish this, three hours of personal telephone
supervision is
included. Once the course is successfully completed, a certificate
of achievement is
issued. Students of this course are invited to sit in on a
patient clinic
at the American Medical College of Homeopathy.
The cost of the course is $880 (price subject to change without
notice).

HOMOTOXICOLOGY ONLINE COURSE APPROVED FOR LICENSING BY
BHME
This course, called "Homotoxicology Online
Course" is 52 hours long (is valid for CME credit by most major
medical associations in the US). Bruce Shelton, MD, MD(H) developed
and administers this interactive home study course, presented by
Shelton Educational Services, LLC. The course features audio narration, slides, and
quizzes with immediate feedback. The course has been pre-approved by
the Arizona Board of Homeopathic Medical Examiners towards licensing
requirements. Without CME credits, the cost is $399. CME
credits are available upon completion for $100.
The course has 20 modules
and covers: an introduction to Phasing and Basic Science,
introduction to Homotoxicology, and covers biomeridian, skin problems, rheumatic
disorders, ENT problems, headaches, gastric, geriatric,
psychological, women's, pediatric, viral, degenerative, and cardiac
